January 2015 New Year’s Resolution – To do a study of a Sargent painting.
I completed a study of one of my favorite Sargent paintings in large format 36″ x 24″. The original Sargent painting was of a fellow artist, William Merritt Chase.
Here it is, hanging above two of my recently finished Nantucket baskets.
